Import your stock portfolio
After creating an account for your securities, you can now use the export of your broker and import it into Tikito. Several files are supported. Please refer to you broker on details how to export your transactions.
Step 1 - Import the file from your broker
Click on Import
from the top menu. Select the account you created for your portfolio and the file you exported from your broker account.
Step 2 - Enrich securities
In order to get the historical prices of a stock, Tikito needs to have the symbol of that stock. For that, you need to manually enrich the security once after importing. This will also gather other information about the stock, such as the sector an industry. This means that Tikito will try to find the correct symbol for it.
From the top menu to go Admin
and click in the left menu on Securities
and you will see a list of securities.
You can also filter by name.
Find your security and click the three dots in the right side of the table and click Enrich.
Step 3 - Fetch historical security prices
Now you can click the three dots again and click Update prices
.
Step 4 - Recalculate historical values
Click on the three dots for the last time and click Recalculate historical value
.
Visualize it
Now you can go to Securities
from the top menu and you will see that for the updated security, you can see all the statistics.
Click on a position to see more detail.
Double click on the security and you will be redirected to the graph view, where you can see even more information about your holding.
